  • Landscape analysis for UNICEF Nutrition – Breastfeeding on the Worldwide Agenda – examining political commitment for this gender, health and nutrition priority.
  • Strategic guidance for UNICEF-WHO Breastfeeding Advocacy Initiative, along with writing, multi-media and social media communication support.

 

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

  • Communication services for the Foundation’s Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health team: research and writing for the Impatient Optimists blog site and social media outreach.
  • Drafting of position paper summarizing scientific evidence on young child nutrition.

 

PATH

  • Creative and technical guidance for Ethiopia team production of A Mother’s Gift—two video dramas supporting HIV positive women in Ethiopia to adopt healthy infant and young child feeding practices.
  • The videos were given a national launch in Addis Ababa and are in continuous use in five regions of the country.

 

UC San Francisco Preterm Birth Initiative (PTBi)

  • Strategic advice on structure and look and feel for the initiative’s website and drafting content for PTBi California home page.

 

International Museum of Women

  • Research and drafting of eight content backgrounders for MAMA: Motherhood Around the Globe online exhibition.
